Career choise

When I had to face my career election, it was so difficult to me, because I wasn´t ready, and I didn´t have enough knowledge of all the types of studies possibilities. That’s the reason that I first enter to “Bachillerato” program at University of Chile.

I knew that I was interested in social science, but I didn´t knew in what way I would enjoy my future work.

Finally, after one extra year before school, I decide to enter to social anthropology, because it was the option that I felt like the less terrible at that moment. I didn’t thought in another career at that moment.

After 4 years of anthropology studies, I have to say that university is overrated, and I´m disappointing when I remember that go to university was the only option that I consider when I finish my school education.

I think that the career election has to be done when the person is truly ready, and that is really difficult if we think in all the pressure that young people have.

Fortunately, I’m already finishing this career, I don’t like to leave things at the have, but I’m sure that my next decision is going to be so much conscious
