Changes to my study programme

When I think about the changes that social anthropology career needs, comes to me a lot of ideas. About the contents, I would include a gender perspective in all the subjects, because in my first years this was not like that, and we only have the male perspective. I think this aspect is actually changing, thanks to the feminist movement in our faculty.
About the workload and length of studies, I always have thought that we have to rethink the time that we dedicated to studies. I think that studies are really important, but sometimes people have other responsibilities and worries like work, family and other projects. This reminds me that the university in Europe has a lower workload and less durability, because instead of five years, the undergraduate courses last three years, and they have a really good quality of professionals.
About faculty facilities, I am happy whit our buildings and classrooms, but along my entire career I was unhappy with the constant construction, demolition and remodeling of the campus, mainly due to noise and dirt, but I understand that this was to improve the infrastructure.
About the teacher’s methods, these were as varied as varied teachers were, so I can say that I really value those of some, and I did not agree with others, therefore I would ask for greater rigor and coordination in this issue.
Other thing that would improve the program studies is to incorporate more incorporate more field work and professional practice, because you learn much more than in the classroom.
In general, I would say that we can always improve our education, and this is a student, teachers and directives work.
